Rush Nursing Home is a luxury purpose-built home offering 56 beds comprising 50 single rooms and 3 twin rooms, all en-suite.

This Nursing home is set in the beautiful town of Rush in North County Dublin. Rush's title as an attractive seaside resort and market gardening centre is clearly evidenced. Rush Nursing Home has its own landscaped gardens providing residents the opportunity to exercise and enjoy the scenery with friends and visitors.

Rush Nursing Home offers a choice of leisure rooms which provide an opportunity for socialising as well as many recreational activities.

Rush Nursing Home is part of Irish-owned Mowlam Healthcare, who provides superior care for all its residents at homes located throughout the country. Mowlam Healthcare, together with the Rush management, recognises the need for services of the highest quality and is dedicated to providing this service and more for each and every resident.

The Rush Care Team

Our committed and caring team, under the guidance of our experienced manager, is dedicated to providing the highest quality care, over a 24hour period, to every resident, every day.

The Rush Care Team provides Superior Nursing Care for short and long term residents, as well as respite residents. Convalescent care is provided for patients recuperating from surgery or illness and the visually and physically impaired.

On-going training is provided for staff by the dedicated Mowlam Healthcare Training Executive.

Services

Our professional catering team design healthy menus which ensure a balanced diet, whilst giving choice and variety to residents on a daily basis. Special diets and nutritional requirements are catered for on an individual residential basis and are reviewed regularly following consultation with nutritional specialists.

A programme of activities is designed to stimulate people's imagination and physical activity. Services will include a visit from a hairdresser to our in-house salon. We are also visited regularly by a physiotherapist, chiropodist, beautician, optician and dentist. Arrangements will be made for residents to attend day centres if so wished.

Residents are welcome to retain the services of their own GP or avail of the Nursing Home's Doctor who visits frequently.

All religious beliefs are respected and the spiritual needs of every resident will be catered for. Rush Nursing Home has a dedicated Oratory for private prayer.
