Our inter-generational art competition launched in March, encouraged children to support older people in nursing home care, during this difficult time of COVID visitor restrictions. Their beautiful and heartwarming drawings and paintings brought a smile to al our faces.

Residents’ grandchildren and school children painted and drew to help brighten our residents’ days, at a time when they can’t hug their loved ones. Your artwork instilled conversation, positive engagement and inspired our residents to go on and make art also, to hang beside yours.

On behalf of our residents, we thank you all for taking part. Your creativity and kindness has brought such joy and happiness to everyone living in Mowlam Healthcare nursing homes and transitional care facilities.
