Millhouse Care Centre is located in New Ross, Co Wexford. The Care Centre is set in the picturesque, peaceful, woodland settings of Newtown Commons, just 1 mile from New Ross.

The Millhouse Care Centre is a luxury, purpose built, functionally designed building, with 62 spacious single ensuite bedrooms, all tastefully decorated.

The Millhouse Care Team

The Nursing Home is run by a Director of Nursing supported by a Clinical Nurse Manager, Staff Nurses, trained Care Assistants, Chef, Catering staff and Housekeeping staff, who are all dedicated and committed to providing a superior standard of care.

All staff are experienced, professionally qualified and undergo continuous professional training. We continually strive to enhance the quality of life of all our Residents and respect ultimately, their right to dignity, individuality, religious beliefs, independence and a personal choice to participate in individual or communal in house activities.

Services

Our Professional Catering Team will prepare appetising home made menus to suit all tastes with a daily alternative main course choice. All our Catering facilities are fully HACCP compliant and only the freshest produce is used on a daily basis. All dietary requirements including special diets, diverse cultural preferences and personal choices will be accommodated. Morning snacks, afternoon tea/coffee, and evening snacks will be served and on request, at any time throughout the day.

Smoking is confined to a designated smoking room to ensure the safety of all our residents.

CCTV cameras enable the monitoring and maintenance of a safe secure environment for all our residents. Alarms have been fitted to all external doors. Security staff will monitor and patrol the perimeter of the Nursing Home and the Residential areas.

Residents can retain the services of their own GP or avail of an alternative local GP.
